DC EMI Filters
EMI (Electromagnetic Interference), also called RFI (Radio Frequence Interference), is a disturbance generated by an external source that affects an electrical circuit. The EMI can degrade the smooth running and correct performance of a piece of electronic equipment or the quality of the signal it receives, whch is responsible for its nickname "noise".
Horizon offers a wide range of solutions intended to fight the issues concerning EMI, safely and effectively.
We offer an array of DC EMI Filters to meet the needs of various industries and applications.
HIGH PERFORMANCE AND HIGH VOLTAGE DC EMI FILTERS
Astrodyne TDI offers DC EMI Filters that can attenuate EMI with the highest performance possible.
The models are designed for both high performance and high current. High-performance filters are specifically designed to produce the best filter quality, while high-current models require more phases to reduce the effects of EMI successfully.
CUSTOMIZED DC FILTERS FROM ASTRODYNE TDI
For more than 50 years, Astrodyne TDI has provided reliable solutions that meet the needs of various global corporations.
Filter modules are created to reduce the common-mode and differential-mode noise on input or output lines of high-frequency switching power supplies, with the industry standard footprint. With just one module, Cincon's EMI Filter products save the trouble for the customers for meeting the EMI requirements of applications.
Inductor-capacitor (LC) filters are commonly added to the inputs and outputs of switched-mode power converters to reduce reflected ripple current and output noise, as well as to meet the radiation and susceptibility limits for EMC. Although the appropriate filter inductor value can be easily calculated, the performance over the full frequency range can vary significantly between different component suppliers for parts with the same nominal characteristics, leading to poor results and increased conducted and radiated interference.
RECOM recognises the difficulty of specifying the right inductor and offers a range of low-cost line inductors that have been optimized to match our DC/DC power converters, with test results verified by conducted and radiated noise measurements in our in-house EMC chambers. Customers get the advantage of a proven, one-stop solution to noise reduction, saving time, money and potentially getting to market more quickly.
